This day last year,( Saturday, August 28, 2010) I married my best friend. I remember the entire day like it was a dream. I spent the day with my best friend getting ready and filling my stomach with butterflies. I enjoyed every minute of it. I love knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with Aaron. He makes me incredibly happy every day. I believe that there is someone out there for everyone. Someone that just fits. That just completes you. I believe I was lucky enough to get Aaron so early in my life. He brightens my day with just being there for me. I love being able to share my feelings, my concerns, my dreams, my hopes with the best person I can. Here's to you my love!

Dinner on me!
Without a job you have a lot of time on your hands. Not the "oh i'm bored what do i do for a day" kind of time. More like the "i'm 70 and i'm retired and i've cleaned the same spot for a week" kind of time. So this results in the apartment being spotless and me watching marathons of sloppy reality shows.
So i've come up with a solution until I find a job. I'm learning to cook. Slowly but surely. With small amounts of recipes with small ingredients, I am filling Aaron up with a warm meal every night. I've made my way into the meat department with ease. I used to be deathly afraid to touch meat. I couldn't stand the feeling. I mean who enjoys it? But with time and patience, i've figured this out. Tonight's meal was no exception. It was so good I called my grandma and brought her some. As a season veteran cook, even she enjoyed it. I was so proud of myself.
I used to be a baking queen, now i'm turning a new leaf.
I'm going to try hard to update my blog. There are so many great blogs that i've been eyeing the last month or so, I don't know if mine can compete! But I hope if not entertaining, I can at least look back and use this as a diary of sorts.
Oh yeah blogspot friends, this is meh:

Just got back from vacation a few days ago. It. Was. Incredible.
My birthday was last weds and we went to Chicago. On our way we stopped at Aurora to look at Wayne's world memorabilia. Surprisingly it wasn't actually filmed there. If you look really close you'll notice that there's palm trees in the movie. Haha! Anyway we had delicious deep dish pizza followed by fireworks. A great birthday indeed.
Then on Thursday, we went to Harpo Studies and went shopping. Then we went to dinner and a comedy club. It was so funny. They dubbed over a black and white movie and it was great.
Friday we went to the zoo and shopped a bunch more. We went to a huge apple store and had awesome mexican. And then we went to the White Sox game. There was so much fandom. Their fans were great.
Saturday we relaxed as much as we could then we went to dinner and drank a bunch. Sunday was great too we went to the Planetarium.
The entire weekend was incredible and we spent so much time together. I love time with my boo, and he made my birthday so incredibly special.
